Yes, if all goes well, Prospect, Maine’s Fort Knox, may be seeing a little Ghost Hunters action in the very near future – maybe even as early as February. According to recent reports, the producers of Ghost Hunters have shown interest in the historic fort. While concrete details are not yet available, story producer, Patrick Powell, confirmed that talks for a possible segment had taken place. Before production can begin, the Ghost Hunters team will need an activity permit in order to tape a segment of their show at the fort. It’s reported that Leon Seymour, the executive director of the Friends of Fort Knox, contacted the Maine Department of Conservation’s Bureau of Public Lands to request an activity permit, but no official word has been released on whether or not the request has been granted.
