Is Foot/Ankle surgery painful?
This is a very frequent question that many patients ask. There have been tremendous advancements in foot and ankle surgery and in postoperative pain management. These advancements have made it much more comfortable now to have these types of surgeries and are not nearly as uncomfortable as they used to be. There is some initial postoperative discomfort as you can imagine, but we provide each patient with the necessary medicine to manage their postoperative pain.
