Is food provided on campus?
No. All on campus accommodation is self-catering. A kitchen is provided for each unit, which usually means a kitchen for 6 or 8 people. Japan House has one communal kitchen for the residence. Students who really don’t want to cook can use the cafeterias on campus or numerous other food outlets nearby. Because the population of Perth has a large number of people who were born elsewhere, most cooking ingredients can be found. This is especially true for Italian, Asian, Greek and English ingredients. Most specialty vegetarian ingredients can also be found, even in big supermarkets.
