The FloFit range of pipe and fittings are suitable for carrying normal levels of chlorine found in domestic water supply systems. Whilst the FloFit system can be disinfected with chlorinated water using the concentration level, contact period and procedures described in BS6700, it is not suitable for use on systems where the water contains high levels of chlorine e.g. swimming pools, fountains etc., or areas of high chlorine.
