This is a widely misunderstood term. There are illegal flips as well as “legal” flips. Flips involving fraudulant statements, false loan documents or appraisals are forms of “Illegal Flipping”. Rehab Flips, Inverse Purchase Flips and other state approved subject-to type flips are not illegal.
