Yes, fishing is permitted at both Lake Shermerville in West Park and at the Anets Pond at Techny Prairie Parks & Fields and the Anetsberger Golf Course. Adults must have an Illinois Fishing License. Fishing tackle is available to rent at the Anetsberger Golf Course building adjacent to the pond. We have a Catch and Release program.
