FC Section 2206.8 requires the fire protection equipment as follows: An automatic fire-extinguishing system using an extinguishing agent suitable for petroleum fires and installed in accordance with section 904.6 shall be provided for all new flammable liquid fuel dispensing systems subject to section 2206. Fire protection systems at unattended self-service stations shall be monitored by an approved supervising station in accordance with section 901.9.4. It should be noted that this is not applicable to diesel fuel which is a combustible liquid, not a flammable liquid.
