Is fioricet in the same family as percocet?
Fioricet is strictly for headaches/migraines only. Percocet is for mild to moderate pain. Fioricet is non addictive and is a sched. VI drug, percocet is a sched II drug. My wife is on Fioricet and Percocet after recently having major brain surgery. She is able to NOT take Fioricet for days at a time with no addictive withdrawal symptoms, even thought the previous day she had to take the full doses of 7-8 a day. .
