I mean it’s one thing to meet someone online, it’s another thing to fall in love with them and never meet, sometimes for shy people it’s a great way to meet someone.. it’s somewhat “safe” to meet someone online, you don’t go through that awkwardness of trying to introduce yourself to someone in person.. it’s nice to be able to talk and fall for someone for their personality and not just their looks, but I wouldn’t call it love until the two people actually meet and interact. I wouldn’t call it pathetic, you love who you love, you can’t really help it.
