Is filling in the customs declaration form important?
A.) Yes, it is mandatory to fill in the customs declaration form, of which you will receive 2 copies during your flight, before you land at Tashkent International Airport. You have to fill in all the details from your passport, and the most important thing is to fill in the exact amounts of all the foreign currencies that you are carrying with you. The other copy should be filled in and kept with you at all times Upon departure, you will be required to fill in another customs declaration form, which you will have to hand to the customs / immigration officer. The amount that you declare upon leaving should either be equal with the earlier form, or may be less or zero. You cannot declare more upon departure than what you have during arrival, otherwise you shall be questioned regarding from where you have received the money and for what purpose; in some cases, you and your things may be searched.
