This is not actually answering your question, from what I can tell. The main character in Fight Club does have a mental illness, but it is not schizophrenia. If you have not seen the movie, I do not recommend you spoil it for yourself but you can go to imdb.com or the like to see the name of the actual mental illness the main character suffers from.
