FeedSync defines a set of XML elements to express synchronization information in an RSS or Atom feed. FeedSync does not define a protocol or a means for communication. It is possible to transmit FeedSync information over any protocol, including secure ones such as SSL, WS-Secure, etc. For Atom feed security, see section 5 of the Atom Specification.
