In addition to FedEx staff, FedEx has hired KPMG LLP as Year 2000 project and process management consultants. This firm has been actively involved in all areas of the project, from vendor compliance issues to divisional implementation and issue management, as well as in consolidated management reporting. It also serves in a third-party oversight role. On the Information Technology side, production code inventories and assessments were reviewed by Horizons Consulting.
