Mike writes again from Zionsville, Indiana: “Is Fanfold residing board considered a vapor retarder? To increase the R- value even a small amount, can I put Fanfold over fiberglas between rafters in a cathedral ceiling before I put a plastic vapor barrier over everything?” Answer: Fanfold foam insulation is manufactured as a re-siding board. I really cannot recommend using it as described.
