FairMail can proudly declare to be fair trade because it has been recognized as such by the Dutch Association of World Shops (LVWW) and is a monitored member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). The LVWW has a very strict set of criteria for non-food products coming from developing countries to be sold as “fair trade product in the World Shops. Membership of the WFTO is limited to organizations that demonstrate a 100% Fair Trade commitment and apply its 10 Principles of Fair Trade.
