Is fabric collage artwork framed?
The unique dimensionality of fiber art is unconstrained without framing. However, I do frame a few of my fabric collage pieces (see “Framed Fabric Collage Gallery”). Framing adds more to the cost and I would rather pass the savings on to you. Often fiber art has organic shapes and irregular edges that would be de-emphasized behind glass and by a rectangular frame. However, framing can provide security and longevity to your art piece. Small pieces sometimes also benefit visually with a frame.
