Is F. Glenn Miller a candidate worthy of radio airtime?
Attorney General Chris Koster and the Missouri Broadcasters Association have asked for a ruling from the Federal Communications Commission on whether F. Glenn Miller, a white supremacist, is considered a “bona fide” candidate who has a right to radio airtime. Miller, 69, of Aurora is registered as a write-in candidate for retiring Republican Sen. Kit Bond’s U.S. Senate seat. As a write-in candidate, he purchased radio ads in March that contained statements disparaging Jews, immigrants and minorities.
