Uh, no. Greed and conflict existed before our advances in technology. The percent of extreme rich people is probably about the same as ever (those kings, for instance, were a tiny minority, as are the rich today). No, we’re not becoming more greedy. Most people still just want to live their lives in a reasonably comfy way. What’s changed is that there’s a higher proportion of people able to do so, though that’s been shrinking in recent years. We WERE having a trend of a growning middle class, and less concentration of wealth; we’re going back in that direction in the last 28 years or so. As for conflict, that has been steadily decreasing over time.
