Is Exploder dangerous?
Not in itself. Exploder is a demonstration that ActiveX can be dangerous. It is possible that a misguided person might misuse Exploder in some way that would produce an unwanted shutdown of a person’s PC by placing it in an unexpected location on a web site, but it’s also possible to misuse just about anything. As Microsoft is fond of saying, “If you run with scissors, you might get hurt”.
