Is expired CRP land that has been converted to crop production eligible for CSP?
It depends. If the land was planted, considered to be planted, or devoted to crop production, as determined by NRCS, for at least 4 out of the 6 years preceding May 13, 2002, yes, it could be eligible for CSP. If the land does NOT meet these criteria, it would be ineligible for CSP, per the CPM section 518.42(D).
