Is experience required for salaried positions?
Experience is not required for salaried positions, however these positions are a huge time commitment and require maturity, a great understanding of the AMS and the position you are applying for. To help all candidates who apply for salaried level positions (commissioners, directors, officers, and managers) learn about the positions they are applying for, we require them to write a proposal outlining their knowledge of the position.
