Death is the Result of Sin Death, according the Scriptures, came into this universe as the result of Adams sin. If man evolved over millions of years, then death was in the world long before Adam. Consequently, because death was not caused by sin, the work of the Cross in eliminating sin would not eliminate death. Thus if evolution, theistic or otherwise, were true, death is a process that cannot be avoided and there is not eternal life possible, and certainly none through the death and resurrection for Jesus Christ. Christ died for sin, not for death, and if death was not caused by sin, then death remains. It need not be said again that this denies the Bible. The point here is that Genesis denies evolution between species entirely, absolutely, and in any and all aspects and ways that it may be argued. There was no death until the historic Adam of the Bible sinned and brought death upon the creation that was, prior to that, deathless. If that is not true then the entire Bible is a lie,
