Is Evolution a proven theory like gravity?
Evolution is MORE firmly accepted than our current gravitational theory. Dark matter and issues with quantum gravity are forcing some serious re-thinking of gravitational theory. http://online.itp.ucsb.edu/online/lens06… However, there is no debate in scientific circles that current life evolved from earlier life – none whatsoever. The only debate is in political and religious circles. But this won’t stop people from denying the truth of evolution. Evolution denial is no different than any other form of reality denial. Evolution denial = Holocaust denial = lunar landing denial = round Earth denial. Evolution-deniers claim Evolution is “only a theory”. But in science, any complex model in science is called a “theory”.
