Is Every Popular Christian Artist Compromising?
The natural question is, are all popular Christian artists compromising? Tony, you said that people won’t like it if you are preaching the truth! You said that people will avoid it! So if you have any popularity, then you must be compromising, right? Well, there are times when God graciously allows for His servants to get widespread fan bases to teach the Scriptures in great detail and with no question that they are blatant Christians. Sometimes it is in places that are completely unexpected! We see this in Scripture with many people being converted in the book of Acts. I’ve seen it with many sound Bible teachers having platforms of a large listening base (examples like John Piper, John McArthur, Mark Driscol, CJ Mahaney and others!). I am still shocked myself how God graciously provided a completely secular outlet for my album to release in Japan.
