Is every NSCU member getting a new chip card?
A new chip card will be issued to all card holders who have used their card at an ATM or POS terminal since June 30, 2010. If you haven’t used your card since that date, you will not be issued a new one automatically but can request one at your branch starting late July. In the meantime, your card will remain fully functional since all machines will continue to recognize the magnetic stripe until the end of the year for ATMs and until the end of 2015 for point-of-sale terminals.
