Is Ethanol (from corn) renewable, nonrenewable, or inexhaustible?.?

0

It may be renewable, but it is not sustainable. Therefore it is not inexhaustible. Too much external energy input to get one gallon of ethanol, not to mention the convention methods require 37 gallons of water to produce one gallon of ethanol, and that water is not recoverable. The other problems of such a high water requirement led to a story in the magazine “Minnesota Conservation Volunteer” published by the Minnesota DNR.
