Is Etap hotel brand any good?
The Sheffield etap is fine. I know someone who stayed there and they were happy with it – it is like a cross between a hostel and a Travelodge, more on the Travelodge side. Basic but clean, suitable for short term stays. I live in Sheffield and know where this hotel is. The area is OK, but there is not much around. I’m not sure what you’re coming for, if it’s an arena event then great as it is really close. Meadowhall is five minutes drive, town is ten minutes drive. There is a place called Centertainment just opposite the arena which has a cinema and bowling alley, and lots of restaurants.
