Is Erin Andrews leaving ESPN?
Sideline reporter Erin Andrews’ contract with ESPN ends on July 1st. And just like any other free agent, it seems like she’s going to test the market. The USA Today reported this morning that she’s received a number of other job opportunities including ones outside of sports. Andrews says her preference is to stay in sports once her ESPN contract expires July 1. But she won’t “close the door” on entertainment opportunities. Presumably, Andrews’ performance and stunning popularity on Dancing with the Stars has made her much more marketable to non-sports entities. Wouldn’t be surprised to see her go to E! and become the next Maria Menounos. Speaking of which, she seems pretty pumped up about Game 7.
