I can’t boot off of a new SATA-DVD drive when my EP45-DS3R in RAID 0 mode. Relevant hardware: 1x EP45-DS3R motherboard, BIOS version F10 2x Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS SATA 1TB Hard Disk connected to SATA2_0, SATA2_1 1x Pioneer 20X SATA DVDR DVD Burner Model DVR-216DBK connected to SATA2_2 Steps to reproduce: 1. Reset CMOS, select Load Optimized Defaults, then Save & Exit. 2. Set MIT–>Performance Enhance = [Standard] 3. Set Advanced BIOS Features –> First Boot Device = [CDROM], Second Boot Device = [Hard Disk] 4. Set Integrated Peripherals–>SATA RAID/AHCI Mode = [RAID] and SATA Port0-3 Native Mode = [Enabled] ([Disabled] does not work either) 5. Save & Exit, Hit Ctrl-I to enter Intel Matrix Storage Manager 6. Select Create RAID Volume, use all default values to create RAID 0 volume, Exit. 7. After “Verifying DMI Pool Data….”, “DISK BOOT FAILURE…” is displayed.
