Mr. Colfer is planning a seventh and maybe even an eighth Artemis Fowl book. There are no immediate plans for the next book and no scheduled release date, but in a few years there are likely to be more books concerning the young genius. Also Colfer has mentioned how he thinks Miss Opal is up for one more scheme, so you can look forward to seeing her in at least one more Artemis Fowl book.
