Is Ener1 ready for widespread adoption of lithium-ion technology?
While commercial applications for lithium-ion batteries are already beginning, the industry is still in its infancy. Ener1 believes it has the most capacity in the industry to date, and continues to build additional capacity. With electrification taking center stage in the political and economic arenas, there is an expectation that federal funding, or funding from the automotive industry, will be granted to expand production capacity.
