Is emotional abuse worse than physical abuse?
It can be, because it isn’t usually believed by the authorities or anyone in the position to help. Taping every dialogue is both risky and difficult, and even then it would be odd and awkward to try and express how you feel, then play them the tape. Plus, it’s illegal to tape someone without their permission. So, in many ways emotional abuse is worse. My mom yelled at me day and night throughout my childhood. To add insult to injury, I became a quiet, shy person that no woman takes seriously or wants to spend time with, so in essence my mom is effecting my life even now, years later. A glint of hope is that God says he is a lover of justice and will avenge those who have been wronged, although I will admit that if it is to happen, it must be a long time away from now.
