Is Embrace a singles ministry?
Not in the typical sense. A singles ministry is generally (but not always) focused on creating an environment that allows people of the opposite sex to meet and form dating relationships. Embrace is focused on creating a community of people that share the similar life experiences of single parenting, divorce or separation, regardless of age or gender. As in any close community, lasting relationships will be formed. That’s great! The difference with Embrace is that creating relationships with the opposite sex is not core to our mission. As the saying goes: if it happens, it happens! Embrace will be successful if it nurtures long term relationships with all people, provides useful information, and helps draw people closer to God and Jesus Christ, His Son.
