Is ELT considered energy work and a form of alternative medicine?
Yes, it is, but it is much more, too. SCH is based on the fact that we’re all energy beings. The Creator designed us to use energy, create energy and benefit from its existence. If we didn’t have such capabilities, we wouldn’t be able to breathe, talk, walk or ever heal from illness. Without energy, we would cease to exist entirely. That’s really the keen difference between a living creature and a non-living one (although there is a certain amount of energy even in inert substances, but that is a discussion for another time.) The important thing to keep in mind is for us energy creatures, every day that we spend “living,” our bodies are busy receiving energy, putting out energy and using it profusely.
