Is EKOLET-toilet ecologically safe?
The compost soil one gets from EKOLET-toilet is good fertiliser and it contains no harmful bacteria. In the model meant for year-round use all liquids are biologically cleansed and can be treated as normal household wastewaters (grey waters). In the model meant for holiday homes the majority of the liquids are evaporated and the remaining liquids are extracted via the exhaust hose when biological cleansing in progress. EKOLET-toilet comes with instructions on how to manage liquids. EKOLET-toilets have been manufactured using recyclable materials.
