Is ECOswim a maintenance free pool system?
No, all water types require some degree of maintenance. In a chlorine or salt water pool you monitor pH and chlorine and shock the pool with chlorine. In an ECOswim pool you monitor pH and copper and occasionally oxidize the water with a non-chlorine shock. ECOswim does reduce the need for filter cleaning and back washing. The main purpose of ECOswim is to get families out of chlorine and to make swimming pool ownership more enjoyable and affordable. In essence ECOswim eliminates chlorine and its cost, hassle and danger.
