Is Easton synergy SE better then the S17?
They’re both bonded shaft/blade designs but the S17 has a much longer hosel to allow for the elliptical geometry in the blade. You should also know that the majority of NHL guys using S17 sticks are actually using other Easton models (SE and Stealth CNT) with the S17 graphics. With all that said, I personally significantly prefer the SE over the S17. Briere uses a pretty severe heel curve so Drury or Lidstrom would be the closest Easton retail patterns. You may be able to find Briere pro stock closeouts at Hockey Monkey. As for the Mission Fuel in blue, again, look for pro closeouts over the summer. A lot of St. Louis guys in Mission use Fuels in blue graphics.
