Is eardrum surgery safe?

this is definitely something that you’d consider with a doctor. You are probably curious and that is why you are asking on here, because it probably takes you a long time to be able to even get an appointment with a doctor. However I can tell you that eardrums can rupture and then heal (this is my understanding after reading about ear infections.) Anyway, since your ear drums are so compromised, I am curious about whether you can hear. If you cannot hear then i think that the surgery is only risky because it could cause you to lose hearing. My information is a little confusing though because you say you have a hole in your eardrum, and I take that to mean that you’ve had a hole in your eardrum your whole life, which leads me to think that the rupturing I am thinking about is nto the same as the hole that you have.
