Is DXM Addictive?

It’s definitely addictive to the right people.. I was on it for almost two years at least three days out of the week (usually every school day) I claimed I wasn’t addicted and that I just liked it a lot, and thought it had no consequence physiologically so I kept doing it. Soon my tolerance had me taking huge amounts every time, and one day with too much caffeine I topped it off and overdosed… Now I can’t do it anymore, or I freak out and think I’m going to die because I get chest pains and numbness in my arms. I still lust it when I see a box of coricidin sitting on a store shelf.. thats how I know I was really addicted. The way it changed my mental processes and made everything (especially music) so much more intense… I more or less fell in love with it. I would say if you do DXM, leave at the very least a week between each trip, if not two. I suffer from visual disturbances to this day, panic disorder, and a stomach ulcer.

Tolerance is a process by which the body and brain adjust to a drug so that the dosage must be increased to achieve the same effect (som
