Sorry to burst your bubble, but unfortunately, Dumbledore is dead. Snape was a very accomplished wizard, and he meant to kill Dumbledore. He did mean the spell, he promised Dumbledore. To answer your fourth statement, Fawkes can heal wounds, yes. Their tears have healing powers, but they cannot prevent someone from dying. Also, phoenixes are very smart, and Fawkes would realize if Dumbledore wasn’t dead. The tradition with the portraits is that once a headmaster dies, their portrait goes onto the wall in the office. Dumbledore had been headmaster for many years, but JK rowling states in the book that when Harry goes into Dumbledore’s office, his portrait is there. The portrait had never been there before. So, very sadly, Dumbledore is officially dead.
