Is driving offences such as (no license no insurance speeding fines ) same as a criminal offence?
They are not criminal offenses! They are considered infractions. This means that there is no criminal record of these violations, but just a monetary fine and points taken off of your driving record. Enough points taken off of your driving record, and you have your license suspended. Even no insurance is an infraction. Most of the time, if you acquire insurance before you appear in traffic court, they will dismiss the charges or reduce them significantly. Now, if you ever get a ticket for any of these things and ignore them, than it may become criminal. You could ignore it for a long time though, and if you finally go to court they will just make you pay additional fines, but no criminal record.
