*Sigh* I have a happy, healthy almost 18 month old baby girl. I drank diet soda every day of my pregnancy. And tea with artificial sweetener, because I prefer it to tea with sugar and sugary drinks. I had an uncomplicated pregnancy and a healthy baby, so I do think the whole danger thing is overblown. At 33 weeks all the important bits are done developing in any event, so as long as you don’t drink gallons of the stuff a day, you should be fine. When I was close to the end, the work crowd went out for drinks. I went along and drank diet soda. One of the blokes tried to tell me I shouldn’t and I offered him a choice of where he’d wear it if he didn’t shut up! The dangers of starting an argument with a pregnant woman. LOL!

YES they are dangerous for pregnant women AND everyone else too! don’t drink that stuff….it can cause major problems…..do your research on the dangers on google….plain sugar is way better for you than artificial but if you want a natural sweetener that is sugar free and won’t raise your blood sugar use stevia in drinks and food….can find at most grocery stores….in the health section…
