Is drinking a raw egg the best way to get protein? What other ways can I get protein?
Eggs are really not that great, honestly. There’s only 3g protein in an egg white from a large egg (3g from the yolk too). That means you’d need at LEAST 10 egg whites (or 5 whole eggs) to get a useful dose of protein! Whey protein isolate supplements are much better, and there’s no risk of salmonella from raw eggs. Protein supplements are usually cheaper than the alternative too.
