Is dreaming of danger and death a step in my grieving process with mourning over my late husband?
I am so so soooo sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I can’t even imagine what you are going through. I lost my younger brother and father 8 days apart almost 6 years ago now. Both had heart attacks, my brother was only 35 with an 8 year old son. A little over 4 years later I lost my older sister. My mom had past over 11 years ago now. After my brother and dad died, I can’t tell you how many times I have dreamed of death and other things. I also frequently dream OF the dead including my grandmother who died when I was 8. I don’t think I am crazy or a mental case, I think it is the natural part of grieving. You suffered a tremendous, sudden loss. It isn’t going to be easy to get over, especially with having young children. But now that it is hindering your children and basically smothering them, it would probably be a good time to seek therapy, not only for yourself, but for you with your children as well.
