Is Dr. Jiwani a Medical Doctor?
Dr. Jiwani has a Bachelor of Science degree from UBC and completed her other 4 years in Toronto, Ontario where she accomplished her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She is trained in the science, diagnosis and drugs of pharmaceutical medicine. She is also trained in the art & science of natural therapies including acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, dietary & lifestyle counseling, homeopathy and body work. Approximately 1500 hours of supervised clinical experience is completed before graduation. Since 1997, Dr. Jiwani has shared her knowledge and skills with her patients, through clinical private practice and various media participation.
