Is doing 400 pushups and 100 pullups a day good?
Well tbh, not really, if you do this, you are probably overtraining your muscles. You should only work each body part once a week, no more, no less. This is because your muscles are not growing whilst you are working them but in fact whilst you are resting. I would suggest that you purchased a set of dumbbells (it is a myth that weightlifting stunts growth), this way you can work the whole body, doing different parts on different days and you will really see results. I would suggest this 3 day split: Day1: Chest and triceps Day2: Shoulders. legs and abs Day3: Back and biceps Perform this routine once a week. If you do decide to do this and buy some dumbbells, go to www.dumbbell-exercise.com and click on exercises in the top right hand corner, there will be at least 3 different exercises for each body part. Aside from the actual training, you need to eat a good amount of protein as this is what the body uses to help repair the muscles after you have worked them. Hope this helps you out!
