Is dog food free grain the best?
I have been watching the comments of dog food. I understand the welfare Innova has a grain is free of grain, but in fact they are rich in protein, high protein is not good for dogs is? I am confused which is better food grains or not, these seeds are not much protein in their right? I have three dogs all eat different foods. I have fed Evo red meat. It is very much in it. She is an active dog and agility. There is very difficult to keep weight on her. The Evo can I avoid having to feed its large and ever and maintain their weight. If she is much older it also loose stools. My other dogs need grain in their diet so that you get quality food with high quality grain. but the meat should be the first 2-3 ingredients, then the source of grain. Dogs need is a source of protein before its grain supply. Dogs are like people who gain weight than if feeding more. Foods contain grains average about 250-300 kcal / cup.
