Dodgeball has to be one of the most violent sports being taught to our youth, and there is no reason why it should be stopped. Kids have been playing dodgeball for years now and nothing bad ever happened to them except a few cuts and burses. Ask any parents about dodgeball and they will be able to remember playing the game in school with their friends and having a good time. Those few parents who didn’t enjoy the experience of dodgeball are the same parents that are trying to take the game away from the youth of today. It’s understandable why those parents want the game to be taken away, their afraid their child will be hurt, but why? A child is just as likely to get hurt playing dodgeball as going out onto the field and playing soccer, a big youth sport around the world. Just think of all the sprained ankles, cuts and burses the kids come how with after playing soccer.
