Is distilled water okay for lucky bamboo plants?

Yes, because lucky bamboo doesn’t like chlorine. But there’s no benefit over using municipal water that’s been allowed to age for 24 hours first, either. Either way, nutrient still should be added periodicly for lucky bamboo to live in water. I know people like seeing it in water, but it’s really a jungle plant (not a true bamboo at all) and it does best in soil with diffuse light.
