Actually the movie is based on the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson also known as Lewis Carroll. He wrote it about his friends and enemys. Writing was his way of dealing with life. True it is like an acid trip gone bad but there truly is no connection between the two.
